A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Black / Thrash Metal from Bangladesh. One of the advantages of the digital era as 20 years ago a band like Eternal Armageddon wouldn’t really get any notice besides their own neighborhood or country. Or they have to participate in the tape-trade business. But that was then, and this is now. Eternal Armageddon reformed in 2014 and decided it was better to play the Thrashy version of Black metal than the melodic side of Black Metal. The sound is of good tape-quality recorded in rehearsal room. Everything is auditable although the rhythm guitar is a bit on the background. The influence of Hellhammer and the early Teutonic scene is noticeable still, hence the cover of Sodom’s “Blasphemer”. Purists, give this exotic demo a try. (Ricardo)
