Just a couple of months after the debut album ‘The Morning of the Magicians’, Acwulf and his project Snares of Impurity returns with a new EP, which features an intro, 3 new tracks and an 8 minute Ambient outro.
The tracks on the EP are progressing more into raw lo-fi Black Metal compared with the variation of Raw and Depressive haunting Black Metal influences on the debut. Sound wise there is some change as well, as it is all more buried in the mix than bleak and sharp.
Overall, it feels like a logical follow-up of ‘The Morning of the Magicians’.
