A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

Don´t be misled by the name of this one-man-project from France. In Shadows and Dust has nothing to do with Kataklysm´s “Shadows and Dust”. Started in 2014 by Stephane Thirion “A fleur a peau” is the third full length album.

The album has a well rounded mix of Swedish style Death Metal like very old In Flames and early Necrophobic combined with stylings and melodies of Dissection and Naglfar. Every track is full of the hate and aggression of Death Metal and the furious speed of Black Metal. There is really no time to breath except in the breaks between the tracks. After the duration of 40 minutes your ears will definitely be ringing, but in a very good way. This album is totally worth listening to it. (HaCeBo)
