Canadian Blackened Death Metal. Well, this could be interesting as long it is not the modern blend of Death and Black Metal. No! It should be the Necrophobic-ish kind or the Blasphemy / Bestial Warlust kind, the primitive one. Anthroplague definitely has the old school basics, with a wink to Celtic Frost, but with sometimes a doom and thrash twist. And within a song, like “Distracted”, it almost evolves into a jam session kind of thing. Maybe if the songs were less stretched, this could be interesting, but with this demo they don’t move me to be honest. (Ricardo)
