A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

Bloodphemy are a Dutch death metal band created in the year 2000,that released one demo called “Section 8” in 2002 and then disbanded in 2003. In 2015 the guys decided to get together again and the EP “Blood Will Tell” is the result of their efforts. Bloodphemy offers five tracks of oldschool death metal that are predominantly mid-tempo with some fast outbursts on “Catch 23″,”Disgusted” and “Blood for Me”, the last one being a song that shines with a strong black metal riff. The sound production is on a very good level and all instruments can be clearly heard. The vocals are not bad (although I personally prefer deeper grunts) and the musicianship is on a decent level. Not a bad release for anyone into oldschool death metal. Hopefully a full-length is on the way…..(Zvetan)
