Carnal Ruin – Gnosis of the Dead [Demo]

carnal ruin – gnosis of the dead [demo]

First and foremost, a beauty of an illustration…Vintage old school Death Metal. And that is what you get, violent, nasty and inflammatory Death Metal.

These young dogs compose their noise in Tampa and their work is thoughtful, intelligent and full of dynamics. Slow, lingering and groovy passages are alternated smoothly with fast lashes which is no wonder when you grow up in the old school Death Metal capital of the states. The first two tracks start off with a tasty, gory intro while the third one rages and thrives like crazy. One short, powerful EP cursed with a warm analogue sound. The bass drum in particular has been given a full solid sound, when the double bass rolls pick up, your furniture in your living room will fall apart spontaneously. Delicioussss.

This is a short, addictive pile of Death Metal that every fan should be able to charm. Short and to the point, aggressive and potent. (Franki_boj)
