Mutation joins forces with Hells Headbangers for the release of ‘Esoteric Order of Debauchery’: “Mutation aren’t here to evolve Death Metal; they’re here to drag it back to its most primal form and make it bleed again.”

August 17, 2026

Hells Headbangers is proud to present the highly anticipated debut album of Sweden’s Mutation, ‘Esoteric Order of Debauchery’, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden’s Mutation were formed around 2019 as an idea between drummer S.N and guitarist K.L due to their mutual worship of the earlier years of raw Death Metal. Eventually, three new members: vocalist N.S, guitarist S.Q, and bassist S.B, joined the band in 2022, and Mutation were finally able to create a demo. Released the next year, their ‘Demo ’23’ absolutely scorched with utterly unhinged intensity and authentically ancient atmosphere. Prompted by Perdition Temple’s Gene Palubicki, Hells Headbangers soon signed Mutation, and work began on their imminent debut album.

At long last, that first full-length is here: ‘Esoteric Order of Debauchery’. Forged in the spirit of early Death Metal’s most feral beginnings, Mutation channel a sound that is raw, primitive, and unapologetically violent. There’s no polish here, no artificial shine: just pure, unfiltered aggression driven by riffs, relentless blastbeats, and vocals that feel like they’re clawing their way out from the depths. Drawing heavily from the genre’s earliest days, Mutation revives the chaos and danger that defined Death Metal before it became refined. Every track on ‘Esoteric Order of Debauchery’ is a sonic assault: short, sharp, and savage, built on instinct rather than perfection. This is music that punctures like a knife, where feedback screams, drums feel barely contained, and every note carries a death sentence.

Mutation aren’t here to evolve Death Metal; they’re here to drag it back to its most primal form and make it bleed again. Join this ‘Esoteric Order of Debauchery’ or fall before their ritual blade!

Night Hag return with new album via Rotted Life: “No gimmicks, no polish: just seven tracks of crawling decomposition, oppressive atmosphere, and unrelenting sonic filth.”

August 14, 2026

On October 16th internationally, Rotted Life is proud to present the highly anticipated second album of America’s Night Hag, ‘Great Dismal Darkness’, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

Richmond, Virginia’s Night Hag return from the shadows with ‘Great Dismal Darkness’, the band’s first full-length since 2022’s ‘Phantasmal Scourge’ and the first release as a four-piece. Across seven towering slabs of Death/Doom, ‘Great Dismal Darkness’ sinks deeper into suffocating atmosphere, glue-thick riffs, cavernous growls, and oozing misery. Lumbering dirges, splattering slow-motion double-kick thunder, and walls of rotten distortion create Night Hag’s heaviest, filthiest, and most oppressive work to date.

Since forming in 2010, Night Hag have steadily refined their rancid vision through the ‘Insemination Rites of the Succubus’ EP, split LPs with Cryptic Brood and Burial, and ‘Phantasmal Scourge’. ‘Great Dismal Darkness’ pushes that evolution further, embracing a slower, thicker, and more suffocating approach that’s equal parts primitive Death Metal, fetid Doom, and swamp-born sludge. No gimmicks, no polish: just seven tracks of crawling decomposition, oppressive atmosphere, and unrelenting sonic filth.

‘Great Dismal Darkness’ is Night Hag at their most focused, foulest, and most devastating: a monument to decay built one crushing riff at a time.

Extremely Rotten Productions ready with new album from Azatoth: “‘Carnal Lust of Blasphemy’ contains eight tracks of total putrid blasphemy that take you to a trip through the visceral hellscapes of the underworld.”

August 13, 2026

From the hellish landscapes of southern Finland Azatoth ascends with their first full-length album ‘Carnal Lust of Blasphemy’.

‘Carnal Lust of Blasphemy’ contains eight tracks of total putrid blasphemy that take you to a trip through the visceral hellscapes of the underworld.

Flooded with gory ceremonies of death, decapitating guitars, bone crushing bass, and grinding blast beats, the album has an ominous blend of old school Finnish Death Metal, ’90s American death-grind and bestial Black Metal. Azatoth draws inspiration from cult old horror classics such as Hellraiser, The Thing, and many vintage zombie films, capturing their nightmarish atmosphere, grotesque imagery, and relentless sense of dread.

Extremely Rotten Productions will unleash ‘Carnal Lust of Blasphemy’ on CD, vinyl, cassette, and digital formats on August 21.

The album was summoned in the darkness of The Juvanmalmi Crypt in 2024 by Azatoth over the course of four long agonizing months.

This is putrid fucking Death Metal chaos!

Azatoth was spawned upon Vantaa’s soil in Finland during the dawn of 2020 to create and perform pure blasphemic grinding Death Metal in order to give a voice for the abominations of the underworld. Having currently released two EPs and a split, Azatoth is aiming towards spewing forth their first full-length album as a continuation of their aural curses of putridity.

Sorcery returns with new album via Xtreem Music: “”Four decades after helping lay the foundations of Swedish Death Metal, Sorcery returns stronger than ever to celebrate its 40th anniversary…”

August 8, 2026

Four decades after helping lay the foundations of Swedish Death Metal, Sorcery returns stronger than ever to celebrate its 40th anniversary with ‘The Immaculate Sin’, the band’s long-awaited 5th studio album. ‘The Immaculate Sin’ will be released on October 1st through Xtreem Music on CD, 12″LP, Cassette and Digital formats.

Formed in 1986, Sorcery were one of the pioneering bands of the Swedish Death Metal scene. After releasing a first demo with strong Thrash influences in 1987, the band quickly developed the sound that would help define Swedish Death Metal by the end of the decade. Following three demos, they released the EP ‘Rivers of the Dead / The Rite of Sacrifice’ in 1990, followed a year later by their acclaimed debut album ‘Bloodchilling Tales’, which has since become a true classic of the genre.

After numerous line-up changes, the band entered a lengthy hiatus in 1997 before finally reuniting in 2009. Their second era began with ‘Arrival at Six’ (2013), a comeback that was enthusiastically received by both critics and fans. It was followed by ‘Garden of Bones’ (2016) and ‘Necessary Excess of Violence’ (2019), once again establishing Sorcery as one of the most respected names in Swedish Death Metal.

After several more line-up changes over the years, the band has enjoyed a stable line-up since 2024, led by founding members Ola Malmström (vocals) and Paul Johansson (guitar), alongside Johan Vikholm (guitar), Tommy Holmer (drums) and Mikael Carlsson (bass). In 2026, Sorcery celebrates its 40th anniversary with the release of its fifth studio album, ‘The Immaculate Sin’, which will be supported by a commemorative European tour. Cover artwork was once again made by genius Juanjo Castellano.

With ‘The Immaculate Sin’, Sorcery once again proves that their inspiration remains as strong as ever, four decades after the band’s formation. The new album marks another significant milestone in the career of a band that has remained true to its roots while continuing to evolve, and will be accompanied by a European tour celebrating both the new release and forty years of uncompromising Swedish Death Metal.

In Obscurity Revealed returns with second album via Personal Records and Night Terrors Records: “Pitch-black in atmosphere but pulsing with the cavernous muscularity of their foundational influences… here do In Obscurity Revealed surge, slice, and stomp with horrific abandon.”

August 7, 2026

On October 9th internationally, Personal Records is proud to present In Obscurity Revealed’s highly anticipated second album, ‘Caustic Maelstrom’, on CD format. Night Terrors Records will handle the cassette version. The vinyl version will follow later on.

Formed in Mexico City in 2014, In Obscurity Revealed exist to create Death Metal. After early releases through Caverna Abismal Records, the band established an ongoing collaboration with Blood Harvest Records, resulting in the ‘Grim Fumes of Revelation’ EP, the debut album ‘Glorious Impurity’, and a split album with Infesticide. All were hailed by Death Metal maniacs the world over, for it was obvious: In Obscurity Revealed are Death Metal maniacs themselves, and their dread creations uphold this noble banner.

Now, seven years after that celebrated debut full-length, In Obscurity Revealed’s second album is at last upon us. Bearing the all-too-true title ‘Caustic Maelstrom’, this second full-length was forged through the cut of a sinister dagger. There is no interest in trends, expansion, or stylistic mutation. Each release is intended to push further into the same hostile terrain rather than abandon it, and ‘Caustic Maelstrom’ unfolds a landscape more hostile than all previous. Pitch-black in atmosphere but pulsing with the cavernous muscularity of their foundational influences, early Morbid Angel, Necrovore, and Incantation, here do In Obscurity Revealed surge, slice, and stomp with horrific abandon, somehow retaining a vulgar finesse in the face of so much unfettered barbarity. That the production retains the right amount of clarity vs. crush simply heightens the sensation: only death is realer.

Having completed two European tours and preparing for a third this year, the path remains unchanged: In Obscurity Revealed play Death Metal. ‘Caustic Maelstrom’ is their latest blood upon the altar; kneel or offer up thyself for sacrifice.

Iron Bonehead Productions ready with new EP from Tsirhic: “The riffing is cold and dead yet vibrant with energy and emotion.”

August 3, 2026

Iron Bonehead Productions is proud to present Tsirhic’s striking debut EP, ‘To Satan I Reply…’, on CD and 12″ vinyl formats.

Tsirhic is a new one-man band hailing from the United States. Despite this newness, the sound across the opening ‘To Satan I Reply…’ is most definitely old. No more but definitely no less, Tsirhic exclusively play Black Metal of a most mid-to-late ’90s variety, when the dungeons of the underground possessed such stalwarts as Moonblood, Judas Iscariot, and Osculum Infame; legends whose hearts were still enflamed in the glare of burning churches.

Tsirhic’s heart is similarly, authentically enflamed, as the five-song / 25-minute ‘To Satan I Reply…’ is testament to. The riffing is cold and dead yet vibrant with energy and emotion. An atmosphere of mystical possession is present, ceding to a ceremonial triumph. The recording is raw and rippling, conveying the work of actual human hands, and imparting that vibrancy of the riffing to its fullest. And the mainman’s vocals are pure, ancient-days hate, recalling Gorgoroth’s Hat or Mütiilation’s Meyhna’ch.

Too many references? Then perhaps Tsirhic is not for you; ‘To Satan I Reply…’ is unwavering in its dedication, and demands such from the listener.

Morbid Stench ready with new album via Nuclear Winter Records and Putrid Cult: “Musically, Morbid Stench combine crushing slow-paced sections, oppressive atmospheres and carefully crafted arrangements, balancing immediacy and depth.”

August 1, 2026

Central American Death-Doom practitioners Morbid Stench will release their third full-length album, ‘Doom Metástasis’, on October 2nd, 2026 through Nuclear Winter Records and Putrid Cult. The album will be available on LP, CD and cassette formats.

Deeply rooted in Death-Doom, the record broadens the group’s sonic palette through a more developed approach to songwriting, without losing the weight and darkness that have always defined their sound. Conceived as a conceptual work, the album follows a process of transformation that moves from inner decay to complete propagation, blending biological imagery with reflections on identity, inevitability and the cyclical nature of existence. This narrative framework gives the album a strong sense of continuity, shaping a journey rather than a simple collection of individual tracks.

Musically, Morbid Stench combine crushing slow-paced sections, oppressive atmospheres and carefully crafted arrangements, balancing immediacy and depth. With ‘Doom Metástasis’, the band expands its vision while remaining faithful to the raw spirit of Central American Death/Doom.

Deconsekrated ready with new album via Nuclear Winter Records: “While its roots firmly lie within the classic Death Metal tradition, the band’s songwriting reaches beyond mere homage, weaving intricate arrangements, unexpected tempo changes and subtle twists into every track.”

July 31, 2026

Nuclear Winter Records proudly announces the release of Deconsekrated’s sophomore album, ‘The Inexorable Transcendence of Death’, set for release on October 2, 2026 on LP, CD and MC formats.

Over the past decade, Chile has established itself as one of the world’s premier breeding grounds for uncompromising Death Metal, and Deconsekrated are poised to further strengthen that reputation with an album that fully embraces the darkest corners of the genre. ‘The Inexorable Transcendence of Death’ is a relentless collection of dense, hostile compositions built on crushing intensity, oppressive atmosphere and an abundance of memorable riffs. While its roots firmly lie within the classic Death Metal tradition, the band’s songwriting reaches beyond mere homage, weaving intricate arrangements, unexpected tempo changes and subtle twists into every track. Rather than attempting to reinvent the style, Deconsekrated explore its vast creative potential, crafting songs that unfold organically and reveal new layers with each listen.

Powerful, immersive and meticulously constructed, ‘The Inexorable Transcendence of Death’ stands as a bold new statement from one of Chile’s most promising Death Metal acts.

Flame returns with third album ‘Ignis Draconis Daemonicus’ via Primitive Reaction: “Totaling nine new metallic hymns of Thrashing Black Metal magick steel, ‘Ignis Draconis Daemonicus’ offers a 47-minute gateway to the beyond to explore your own darkest occult realms.”

July 28, 2026

On September 25th internationally, Primitive Reaction is proud to present the long-awaited third album of Finland’s Flame, ‘Ignis Draconis Daemonicus’, on CD and vinyl LP formats.

Formed back in that fateful year of 1998 in Kuopio Rock City by erstwhile members of Barathrum and Urn, Finland’s Flame soon took on a (fiery) life of its own. A couple demos burst forth from the void before a split with the cult Devil Lee Rot in 2001; another demo came in 2004, followed the next year by a split with Australia’s late / great Ghastly. But it was Flame‘s debut album, ‘Into the Age of Fire’, where the band’s iron-fisted glory was fully revealed. Here, the band summoned forth triumphant epics of gnarliness that were equal parts ancient Black Metal and Thrash (or Blackthrash) and just-as-ancient bestial metal, all at a time when both idioms were far less fashionable than they are now. It would take six long years before another full-length torch was revealed, but Flame’s second album, aptly titled ‘March Into Firelands’, proved that the Finns’ unholy conflagration was as potent as ever: dynamic yet immediately headbanging, rooted in the old ways yet never recreating anyone’s past glories, but then, silence once again.

But like their foundational idioms, Flame are immortal, no matter when they choose to appear and raze the scene. And raze they did with 2020’s ‘Ignis Spiritus’ mini-album, released to widespread acclaim by Primitive Reaction, and they’ll raze further and fierier with their long-awaited third album, ‘Ignis Draconis Daemonicus’. It’s only logical that this full-length shares a titular similarity with its short-length predecessor, as it’s a progression both musically and lyrically. Indeed, ‘Ignis Draconis Daemonicus’ is immediately recognizably Flame, combining the grime & grandeur of their first couple albums plus the atmospheric elevation that ‘Ignis Spiritus’ brought. In a word, poised: the Finns convey a never-overstated, almost-quiet confidence that lends a prouder & more powerful aspect to their characteristic incendiary execution. The album’s title translated from Latin is ‘Fire of Demonic (or Daemonic) Dragon,’ which is further extrapolated into finding one’s key to their own ‘true will,’ ‘inner power,’ and ‘magickal transformation,’ all topics that have led to Flame’s new lyrical direction, guided by founding vocalist / guitarist Blackvenom. While the Finns’ first two albums spit blasphemy, later-days Flame sees Blackvenom writing poetry based on occult / esoteric traditions and practices, from Thelema to Typhonian / Draconian, Chaos Magick to Luciferian philosophies, conveying the spiritual awakening he underwent ten years ago and fully mirroring his own soul’s evolution. An eternal Flame, for sure!

Of especial note is the sound itself on ‘Ignis Draconis Daemonicus’. As Blackvenom explains, “We set our bar high for this album to sound the strongest, heaviest, and at same time as dynamic as possible so far. We were fascinated about soundscapes at Priory Recording Studios in the UK after we heard Adorior’s latest ‘Bleed on My Teeth’, and we wanted studio owner Greg Chandler (Esoteric) doing mixing for us, too. Using Greg wasn’t the cheapest option, so Chris Nunravager (ex-Adorior, recorded the album at his Rat Nest Recording studio) put up his own label, Acid Orgy Records, and teamed together with Primitive Reaction to share the mixing and mastering costs. Greg did a fantastic job! He created the perfect soundscapes that combine heaviness, rawness, and epic atmospheres, but still keeping our overall sound rooted in the underground spirit!”

Totaling nine new metallic hymns of Thrashing Black Metal magick steel (plus mood-setting intro), ‘Ignis Draconis Daemonicus’ offers a 47-minute gateway to the beyond to explore your own darkest occult realms. Flame take you on a ride on dragon wings, forever Finnish warriors of mighty Satan’s horde!
