VoidLord is an obscure entity from the sunny Cyprus and one thing is for sure, the guy is a Tom G. Warrior fan. Meaning that the vocals are pretty similar and also the music has elements from Hellhammer, Celtic Frost but not only. I will not call this a clone band because there is more here. Some Black Metal, some Death Metal spiced with some Thrash and Speed Metal and there you go, “Wasteland Command”.
No lyrics are available so i can only deduce the main ideas, Famagusta ghost town and the whole division of Cyprus are anyway some of today’s mysteries. Not sure about how many actual tapes are out there but there is a Bandcamp page where you can check out this demo, has quite a lot of stuff packed in it so i would not call it a waste of time.
Not much good music is coming from Cyprus these days so this one is definitely from the better ones! (Woodlum666)
