Rotting Demise – My Whole Wrath

rotting demise – my whole wrath

Info

Rotting Demise are a relatively new German band – they are together since 2018 and ‘My Whole Wrath’ is their debut full-length album. The cover artwork is the first thing that makes an impression – plenty of body parts, flames and a guy holding a chainsaw, classic stuff. In terms of music, you will discover ten tracks of Brutal Death Metal with excellent sound production and performed by experienced musicians. Rotting Demise delivers plenty of heavy guitar riffs, complex tempo shifts and some melodic passages into the overall heaviness of the music like in the fourth track ‘The arrival of the apocalypse’ which has certain Kataklysm vibes and is my favourite of the whole album. ‘Rot in demise’ has an interesting non-standard rhythm somehow reminding me of the German legends Morgoth. The final track ‘Decay of time’ is a keyboard-laden epic song and is a proper final of this record. Good words should be said about Rotting Demise’s vocalist Damian who is also the only one left from the original line-up of the band. He is able to growl, scream and also make some pig squeals equally well. ‘My Whole Wrath’ is one very decent Death Metal album and the fact that it is released independently deserves respect. Fans and labels should support the true underground and pay attention to the talented band that Rotting Demise is.
