A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Bloodrot, from somewhere among the decrepit wasteland of the United States, have unleashed their initial diatribe to the world with their incendiary first ever ‘Demo’. Spewed forth onto us by lone member and mastermind E.X, this diatribe of hatred sees us feed to the Death/Doom Metal misery machine where we wallow in our own filth and depravity.

Offered up to us like a well thought out and cultivated mix of the two of the subgenre’s best, Encoffination and the Doomiest parts of Dead Congregation. It’s slow, it’s deep, it’s soul destroying and it’s absolutely fucking fantastic. I can not wait to hear more from E.X and his Bloodrot monster. This demo is on Bandcamp and more than worth checking out. I mean, come on, it’s two tracks, just under ten minutes of slow Death goodness.
