What we have here is the debut full-length of Sanctifying Ritual from Germany, who released 2 demos, an 7” EP and a compilation (containing the two demos) prior to the self-titled album.
On the demos they have covered old tunes of Sepultura and Merciless, to give you a hint about the deadly attitude these guys have. If you add the Vampire demo, with the great “At Midnight I’ll Possess Your Corpse” track, Sadistic Intent and Repugnant along with some great dungeon torturing vocals, along with the dark atmosphere and good leads, you will have a good direction where Sanctifying Ritual is heading to.
