A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Malakhim – Demo I [Demo]

Sweden, Black Metal, common terms nowadays. In 2016 a new spawn of raw Black Metal was born in form of Malakhim. Ofermod and Watain musically and aesthetically. Pure Black Metal madness and the production is perfect. Sadly only 3 songs yet, but yes, it is a demo. Now they are signed by Iron Bonehead Productions so there will sure be great things to come. The dark aura is there. Tremolo chords and picking, intriguing riffs and great transitions make this demo a must have. Fantastic throat work by E shows all ranges within black metal. Bass and drums are perfectly in the mix and enough versatile to highlight this demo as well. Highly recommended. (DPF)
