“Descend…into Nothingness” is the second album and my first encounter with Dalkhu, a Black Metal two-piece formation with quite some Death Metal elements from Slovenia. Of course there are more Black Metal bands who use a deep Doom/Death grunt in their hymns, but Dalkhu also have some Blackened Death Metal riffs as well. As a result you have Sweden’s Blackened Death meets Slavonic Black Metal, which gives it an epic swirl. A nice listen, but nothing more than that. (Ricardo)
