Although Iron Bonehead Productions released the other release Reaper produced in their career, the “Ravenous Storm of Piss” demo of 2019, this will be the release the masses will get acquainted with the musical desecration that is Reaper. For the ones who already figured out that “Reaper” is a track of the first Bathory album…by the unholy yellow goat, the whole album has the strong odour of that particular album.
Strong Odour? The beautiful stench of the Blackened Speed/Thrash you’ve heard on “Bathory” is all over the place during the very first till the very last second of “Unholy Nordic Noise”, with a fitting gritty production as well. So the first Bathory with the Speed Metal of an act like Barbatos and although not labelling “Unholy Nordic Noise” as a must buy, it is a pleasant listen for sure. (Ricardo)
