A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Well…that was fun. Vomit Angel are two sickos from Denmark (Lord Titan on drums/vocals and Necrodevil on guitars/vocals) who release their debut “Imprint of Extinction” via the German label Iron Bonehead Productions.

What we have here are 20 tracks of basement-sounding mix of Black/Death/Grind/Punk with guttural and more blackish vocals. Vomit Angel take influence from chaotic bands like Blasphemy and Von and mix it with the more punk/grind approach of Birdflesh and the likes.

Most of the songs are around 1.30 minutes and the whole album is 29 minutes long so it is short and sweet. Vomit Angel sound like a band that is suitable for festivals such as Obscene Extreme so if you are into this type of sound then you should definitely check out this band. (Zvetan)
