Ascended Dead – The Advent

No Image Available

After only releasing one demo and one 7”, this is already the first compilation of Ascended Dead. The marketing department of Iron Maiden probably asks themselves “why haven’t we think of that?!?”. Well, it’s not a common compilation as “The Advent”, released on 150 cassettes, contains two sessions which were meant for split releases. First 4 tracks were recorded in Seattle, the other two are known as preproduction of the “Arcane Malevolence” 7”. You get the same what I mentioned in the “Arcane Malevolence” review; early Morbid Angel, Immolation and Sarcofago. Raw, Chaotic Old School Death Metal. Only this time it has a more rehearsal-room vibe. This tape is for the die-hards and collectors. (Ricardo)
