Kryptamok from Finland is the brainchild of Hex Inferni, better known for his bass work within Horna and handling the guitars in Necromonastery among other bands. The Black Metal on the first demo of Kryptamok has its fundament in the Scandinavian Second Wave Black Metal, with variation in speed and melody as well as atmosphere.
The atmosphere is quite haunting sort of speak at some times, created by an organ like sound. Furious and haunting, a good combination with Black Metal especially when it is well played like on this demo. A decent effort for sure. (Ricardo)
