A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Germany’s Nekus understand the concept of combining all aspects of their art to present a full, complete and well rounded product. For every little aspect of their existence fits properly within the presentation of their chosen art. And the style of art that they chose is one that fits within the Black-end Death Metal of the Doom-y, subterranean Cavernous kind.

From the dark, gritty cover of this EP, to their creepy logo, plus the song titles all illustrate perfectly and exactly what you will find from the music held within said EP. And that music that I spoke of happens to be a reeking, glorious example of what this type of art is and should be. ‘Death Nova Upon the Barren Harvest’ is a true work of art from a band who truly gets it.
