A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Filthy and bastards…these are the suitable words coming to mind as I listen to this band. I still remember the debut album, a good album inspired by Mötorhead, Exciter and Aura Noir…Black Heavy metal the raw way we like it, without any sort of compromise. Just fun and homage for retro styled metal. A very prolific band if you look at their discography; true attitude and always devoted to sound like a band coming from the metal scene of the 80’s , Whipstriker never changed  their formula at all. This new album is cool as fuck and I like the production more than the latest work for example. I’m honest to say that just for the great album cover art created by the might Rok from Sadistik Exekution, I would purchase the album at 100% without any sort of listening session…it reflects the whole concept of the album: dirty black speed metal as it must sounds. Hellhammer worshippers be prepared for this sonic holocaust!! (CrisPervertor)
