A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

The Italians from Children of Technology are back with their third full-length titled “Written Destiny”. A bit more than 30 minutes of melodic Thrash, where some Speed Metal vocals and high pitch screams come by often in the sound. My ears don’t misjudge me when I state that also Punk influences are blended in this release .

Guitars sound sharp, the music is invented for Thrash parties and must be absorbed in the right circumstances to step into the warzone. A bit of Testament, Midnight, Municipal Waste, Toxic Holocaust, … come together in 8 good tracks. The lack of originality must be oppressed in some songs, like ‘The New Barbarians’, but the implementation and way they throw themselves in their sound let it quickly forget you perhaps heard it all before.

The execution is splendid, so what else do you long for in this type of metal? Party hard and bang worry-free on this release. (Fredde)
