Mexico’s Necroccultus announces new full-length: “‘The Afterdeath Blackness’ stands as a statement of intent: Death Metal in its most essential, uncompromising form.”

Info

Mexican Death Metal veterans Necroccultus are set to make their triumphant return with their new full-length album ‘The Afterdeath Blackness’, scheduled for release on April 24th, 2026 via Terror From Hell Records.

Proud standard-bearers of the purest and most solemn Death Metal tradition, Necroccultus return with a record that both honors and revitalizes the genre’s roots. Forged through years of underground militancy and unwavering dedication to the Death Metal cause, the band channels its accumulated experience into an album that feels timeless yet fiercely alive. ‘The Afterdeath Blackness’ stands as a statement of intent: Death Metal in its most essential, uncompromising form.

Across eight tracks, the album showcases everything that has defined Necroccultus since their inception: massive riffs, carefully crafted songwriting and a dark atmosphere rooted in ritualistic heaviness. The compositions are elaborate without ever becoming self-indulgent, balancing complexity with raw impact and maintaining a natural flow that keeps the listener immersed from beginning to end. A constant sense of menace runs through the record, while a subtle veil of epic grandeur elevates the material beyond mere brutality.

Rather than chasing trends or modern gimmicks, Necroccultus embrace the spirit of classic Death Metal, filtering it through decades of underground commitment and artistic growth. The result is an album that sounds both reverent and commanding; a work that speaks directly to devoted followers of the old ways while reaffirming the band’s place among today’s torchbearers of authentic Death Metal.

Vargrav returns with new album via Werewolf Records: “Vargrav cement their position as the vanguard of symphonic Black Metal with ‘Dimension: Daemonium’!”

Info

Werewolf Records is proud to present the highly anticipated fourth album of Finland’s Vargrav, ‘Dimension: Daemonium’, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

From the dawn of the classic debut album, ‘Netherstorm’, in 2018, Finland’s Vargrav have almost single-handedly reinvigorated the oft-maligned symphonic Black Metal subgenre. Forged in fires from the ancients; founder V-khaoz’s credentials are vast and stretch back decades, and stoking the embers last left by Obtained Enslavement and Norway’s Covenant and Odium, Vargrav’s first two albums stand as proud pillars of shimmering, classics-based obsidian.

However, it was 2023’s literally Massive ‘The Nighthold’ where Vargrav eclipsed all prior achievements. With a lineup that included the notorious Graf Werwolf von Armageddon on vocals and Moonsorrow members Trollhorn of the Black Harvest on guitars/bass and Baron M. Tarwonen on drums, Vargrav’s swirling, cosmic surge hit a fever pitch of potency; and the filmic elements latent to their sound became a movie unto themselves. It was not unjust to liken this third album to Covenant’s classic ‘Nexus Polaris’.

Now, as their second era continues unchained, Vargrav return with their fourth full-length, ‘Dimension: Daemonium’. Tellingly titled, ‘Dimension: Daemonium’ sees an extension of the cosmic surge that so marked its towering predecessor. Pared down to a duo of V-khaoz and Werwolf, ‘Dimension: Daemonium’ is likewise “only” 43 minutes, but it feels no less huge. Songs strike immediately and then stretch out, the clarity even more sparkling, imparting a unique juxtaposition between nasty execution and glimmering atmosphere. Indeed, those atmospheres arguably journey to dreamier locales, but ones blanketed in the dead chill of space. Because in space, or perhaps, the sad realm of the stars, no one can hear you scream…

Furious yet finessed, breathtaking stained-glass visions stained with stardust shot from a black hole, and darkly dramatic as ever: Vargrav cement their position as the vanguard of symphonic Black Metal with ‘Dimension: Daemonium’!

Signal Rex ready with Bezkres’ debut album: “‘Naturalna nietolerancja’ is a raw and uncompromising Black Metal statement forged in the spirit of the ’90s underground.”

Info

On April 10th internationally, Signal Rex is proud to present Bezkres’ highly anticipated debut album, ‘Naturalna nietolerancja’, on Cd and vinyl LP formats.

Following a demo in 2024 and the Signal Rex-released ‘Odwieczny zew agresji’ EP last year, Poland’s Bezkres now make their full-length debut. ‘Naturalna nietolerancja’ is a raw and uncompromising Black Metal statement forged in the spirit of the ’90s underground. Cold, austere, and openly hostile, the album rejects human weakness, religious corruption, and false transcendence. Across nine tracks, spanning into 40 minutes, Bezkres channel nature as an ancient, merciless presence, older than belief, untouched by morality.

Built on repetitive, frostbitten riffs, stripped-down structures, and an unpolished sound true to the genre’s origins, ‘Naturalna nietolerancja’ unfolds as a solitary passage through contempt, willpower, annihilation, and disappearance. There is no spectacle, no modern gloss; only severity, distance, and the cold clarity of stone. This is Black Metal rooted in isolation and negation, faithful to the underground ethos of the ’90s and indifferent to anything beyond it.

Purity Through Fire ready to release A.H.P’s second album: “From palatably varied songwriting to a more mechanistic soundwall… A.H.P. follow their own path, forged in fire, ice, and iron will”

Info

On March 21st internationally, Purity Through Fire is proud to present A.H.P.’s highly anticipated second album, ‘Alltid Imot Deg’, on CD format. The vinyl version will follow this summer.

Formed in 2011 in Bergen, A.H.P. are something of a “dark horse” within Norwegian Black Metal: their sound isn’t Norwegian Black Metal Exclusively, and band founder / songwriter Gulnar originally hails from Poland. However, being something an outlier has made A.H.P. all the more unique. From palatably varied songwriting to a more mechanistic soundwall, from tastefully unexpected cover-song choices to even-more-varied lineups, A.H.P. follow their own path, forged in fire, ice, and iron will.

Now, a full decade since their Against Human Plague debut album, A.H.P. return to reassert those unique virtues with ‘Alltid Imot Deg’. Comprising five songs in 41 minutes, A.H.P.’s second album is indeed more epic-minded than the first, each song creating a shapeshifting vortex where four separate vocalists narrate foul deeds and filthy states of the soul; among those guests are Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult’s Onielar. Gulnar rises to the occasion with songwriting that’s by turns stealthy, hypnotic, schizophrenic, and thuggish, but always, Always, is there an ever-building fountain of cold & crunching violence. That A.H.P.’s soundwall retains their elder Moonfoggy-mechanistic feel whilst emitting a sort of delirious humanity only makes ‘Alltid Imot Deg’ all the more compelling, and, always again, all the more unique. Still, the best is saved for last with the 15-minute title track, which is an awe-inspiring maw of impossibly alluring darkness; you will drown in this.

Possession is back with new album via Iron Bonehead Productions: “Once again, opened are the Gates… we summon Anneliese’s Spirit, once more for her to inspire the Possession entity to tell the ‘Tale of The Mother of Darkness’…”

Info

Once again, opened are the Gates… we summon Anneliese’s Spirit, once more for her to inspire the Possession entity to tell the ‘Tale of The Mother of Darkness’…

Hidden in the Bulges Forest, among its dark hills
Stands a castle where a demonic power lives
Swallowing the blood and the souls of sacrificed innocent angels…

Enter the Black Chapel, hear the graveside prayer as They let them run during nocturnal wild hunts. The hunters exhulted hearts scream in the night…
The more they’ll cry, the brighter they’ll shine and all shall die.

‘The Mother of Darkness’ shaped as the latrodectus Tela awaits the Young Blood Ritual…
Come and See.

Teratoma returns with new album via Me Saco Un Ojo Records: “From the whiplashing assaults to the slower moments of eerie decay, each moment has its own grueling intensity to offer.”

Info

Me Saco Un Ojo Records is proud to present the highly anticipated second album of Germany’s Teratoma, ‘Longing Veracity’, in CD and vinyl LP formats.

Otherworldly atmospherics soon turn to visceral Death Metal as we begin our all-consuming descent into the bowels of the beast. Murky guitars churn around punchy bass-lines and snappy drums. The old-school Death Metal method, tried and tested, is delivered with crushing precision and monstrously snarled vocals to complete the mix. Building a strong rhythmic current to unleash a tidal wave of grooving, mid-tempo Death Metal offal, this is going to grip you with the rusted chains of pure viciousness. The crawling pace of the riffs ensures they are memorable – catchy, even – for your ears to be wormed by chaotic bewilderment and perpetual anguish. The band warn you of the displeasures they inflict, so if you’re still here: that’s entirely your own doing. Still with us? Good, because this juggernaut of decay lumbers forward into more devastating territories, building wonderfully on their already strong debut album.

Slithering for over 45 minutes, this is a behemoth of Death Metal that will either destroy you or have you fully enveloped in its meaty mass for the duration. Plentiful clever grooves switch things up between the charnel atmospherics, so even the dullest mind will have its attention held. As each asphyxiating song creeps forth to swallow you, the void-like atmosphere continues swirling into itself and spitting out only the rotten remains of that which has crossed its path. From the whiplashing assaults to the slower moments of eerie decay, each moment has its own grueling intensity to offer. There is no denying the sheer brute force in terms of the heaviness delivered here. Equally impressive is the totally harrowing ambience they conjure with these songs. Do not miss out on this ruthless slab of death: enter the festering realm of spewing atrocities…

Funelore ready with new EP via Me Saco Un Ojo Records: “This cinematic duo of songs is a destructive and ethereal force of darkness like none you have heard before.”

Info

Me Saco Un Ojo Records is proud to present ‘The Dissolution of Consciousness’, the debut EP of Canadian doomed Death Metal entity Funelore, on 12″ vinyl format.

Bellowing eldritch atmospherics explode from crawling guitars and drums with monstrous vocals and ghostly synths to accompany them. The funereal and somber ambience is deathly, morbid, and hypnotizing – enveloping all with darkness from the onset. The gritty production conveys the devastating mood of the release gloriously, with the crushing weight of every instrument allowed to sit on your chest as you inhale smoky anguish into weakened lungs. This is a profoundly unusual and unique-sounding record that fans of Death and Doom Metal alike will adore, but it is no mere run-of-the-mill Death-Doom; this cinematic duo of songs is a destructive and ethereal force of darkness like none you have heard before. In under 20 minutes, your soul will have suffocated and been stripped bare as your consciousness dissolves in tides of agony…

Coscradh announces new album ‘Carving The Causeway To The Otherworld’ via 20 Buck Spin: “…this is Black Death Metal crafted to maim, forged in fire and performed with malicious intent.”

Info

20 Buck Spin proudly announces the sophomore full-length of Ireland’s Coscradh, ‘Carving The Causeway To The Otherworld’, set for release on February 20th 2026 on all formats.

‘Carving The Causeway To The Otherworld’ is a cosmic execution, binding together the bygone causeways, war gods, stone idols and star-born forces that the druids sought to harness. A vision of the night sky as a living battlement of omens, for those who would hark to the old wrathful spirits.

Savage and mystical Black Death Metal with a heavy and detailed Irish historical influence which will appeal fans of Teitanblood, Angelcorpse, Immortal, Absu, Black Curse, Mayhem, Katharsis, Cultes Des Ghoules and Malthusian.

Like a black wind rising off peatlands long left to silence, Ireland’s Coscradh unearth their second album ‘Carving The Causeway To The Otherworld’, wrenching up the bog-roads of the dead through dread sorcery. An invocation of deep-rooted heritage and ancient mysticism the album resurrects the six-thousand-year-old oaken pathways raised by warring tribes under the cold eye of the druid, toward the realm beyond life, and conjuring these vanished labors with the memory of violence itself.

Channeling the druid as both astronomer and war-seer, Coscradh invokes Mars as the god whose red light demands sacrifice, revealing Gaelic warriors hollowing themselves into vessels and letting the fury of Goac enter and devour them for battle. Guitars flare and burn like meteors knifing the horizon, letting loose riffs rusted with ancestral power. The blistering percussive onslaught crashes like hooves on dead earth as the band’s savage ferocity erupts like a war-cry cast into the heavens, crowned in ruinous splendor. Coscradh fully inhabits this domain between worlds, breathing into their work the fury and spiritual force of a people who carved truths into land, sky and grave.

A communion of druidic science and blood, ritual aggression and linguistic resurrection, ‘Carving The Causeway To The Otherworld’ compels a celestial reckoning where fate itself is flung upon the altar. Like gods that ride the firmament, Coscradh’s cold cruel radiance falls upon all who hear it. The record is a cosmic execution, binding together the bygone causeways, war gods, stone idols and star-born forces that the druids sought to harness. A vision of the night sky as a living battlement of omens, for those who would hark to the old wrathful spirits.

Info

Invictus Productions is extremely pleased to announce the forthcoming brand new album ‘Crucifial Imprecations’ from Florida Death Metal horde Hexorcist!

Gene Palubicki from Hexorcist says of the new record;

Hating Life announces debut EP ‘Revenge From Beyond’ via Pulverised Records: “The first Grave material was and remains a clear exponent of the kind of Death Metal that truly motivated me to compose the tracks for this.”

Info

If you know your Death Metal history, you are then well aware that ‘Hating Life’ stands for one of Grave earliest and gnarliest demo days classics, later on rerecorded on their immortal debut ‘Into The Grave’, later on once again used as the title of their fourth full-length, back in 1996. So when a brand new entity proudly waving an Old-School Death Metal flag and bearing the same name seemingly creeps out of nowhere, you’re entitled to except the same kind of Hm-2 drenched, tribute-in-disguise and downtuned Death Metal innit? Well, for the time being, the answer would be yes. And no at the same time.

Not so hidden behind the whole thing is Santi, guitar player and founding member of Ataraxy, one of Spain’s most respected and relentless Old-School Death Metal outfits since 2008. “The whole process was very spontaneous, the result of me jamming with a Gibson Les Paul and a Hm-2 pedal and ending up soon with great riffs, melodies and plenty of ideas. With Ataraxy having now a very specific personality, it felt great to rediscover Primitive Death Metal roots.” Describing Hating Life overall sound as “putrid and raw”, he doesn’t deny the obvious Grave nod, especially since the opening track/intro of their debut recording is simply called ‘Into The Grave’. “You can call it a tribute or a declaration of intent. The first Grave material was and remains a clear exponent, among many others, of the kind of Death Metal that truly motivated me to compose the tracks for this.”

While he handles here all the instruments, Santi asked his Ataraxy comrade Javi to take care of both the lyrical content and vocals. The duo, or ‘band’ if you ask Santi, very first release ‘Revenge From Beyond’ was recorded in between his home-studio and the rehearsal room, to keep it as natural as possible, with Santi taking care of both the recording and mixing process.

Before you complain about another band pretending its 1991 all over again, the man denies any foolish attempt to travel back in time. “In fact, although our main influences are bands from the late 80s and early 90s, there are also current bands that we like and influence us in a certain way. We are simply two guys who are passionate about Death Metal and how death, human barbarism, and violence are all reflected in it.”

From “Into The Grave” to ‘Revenge From Beyond’, all in the name of Death Fuckin’ Metal!
