WolfKult Religion and Sex Messiah team up for the band’s new album on cassette tape
Although ‘Sexus-Mortem, Ouroboros’ was already released on CD in the fall of 2024 by the band’s founder, guitarist and vocalist Moenos’ own Sex Desire Records, it took a few more months before Sex Messiah’s powerful sophomore record gets its well-deserved wider release. An important part of this campaign is the cassette tape version that will see the light of day on June 20th through WolfKult Religion.
Slowly but surely, Sex Messiah is carving its name not only in their native Japanese Extreme Metal scene, but they’re most definitely also getting themselves reckoned with on an international level. More and more, Moenos is navigating her vessel of true and honest metal of death to typical South American Extreme Metal traditions, blending Black Metal and Death Metal into something that feels both familiar and refreshing at the same time.
In short, ‘Sexus-Mortem, Ouroboros’ is a mandatory piece of Japanese Extreme Metal, hard to deny its genuine and monumental energy as well its deeply ingrained authenticity. Revel in Sex Messiah’s crude and blasphemous carnality, evil has no boundaries.
