Me Saco un Ojo and Iron Fortress Records have teamed up to get the Czech band Cancer Void ready for the release of their debut EP. When these two labels work together, you know you’re going to get some blunt Death Metal.
And it doesn’t disappoint, as the Old School Death Metal offers the heaviness that meets expectations. Despite the sound being somewhat on the clean side, and not drowning in a swamp of murkiness, fans of Undergang and Incantation will surely appreciate it. Additionally, some of the Swedish scene creeps in without taking over the well-known sound, with the song ‘Ammonia Baths’, being the highlight.
A solid start for Cancer Void, I am very curious to hear how the debut album, or next release, will sound.
