Death Wolf – III: Östergötland

No Image Available

Horror Punkish Blackened Heavy Metal. Sure, I play along…Once founded as Devils Whorehouse (with Morgan Håkansson of Marduk in the ranks) and started with huge Samhain/Misfits influences, the change with the moniker into Death Wolf also includes changing the musical approach. When influence becomes inspiration, sort of speak. On this album you can hear some Blackened Heavy Metal, some traditional Doom ideas, epic parts but also later Bathory. To make the variety of genres complete on this album, there are also 2 tracks with a huge punk vibe. As you can probably see, there is no particular style which is dominant on III: Östergötland. For you to decide if that is a good thing and a pleasant surprise…(Ricardo)
