“That is not dead which can eternal lie and with strange aeons even death may die” H.P. Lovecraft, “The Nameless City”. Or Iron Maiden with Eddie. You decide. Although Necrowretch doesnt exist for so long, they do have a nice reputation within the underground by releasing some quality demos and EPs. After signing with Century Media and releasing the well-received debut “Putrid Death Sorcery” as well as the “Bestial Raids” compilation, its time to release a new 7”. The new track “Even Death May Die” starts furious in a putrid late 1980s thrashy Death Metal way. If you enjoy Merciless “The Awakening” as well as The Grotesque with a pinch of Slayers “Show No Mercy”, you better check this track out. Necrowretch is able to re-create the same vibe, which is a huge compliment. On side B you will hear a cover of Slayers “Black Magic”. Yes, the same “Black Magick” which is featured on “Show No Mercy” Already looking forward towards the new album called “With Serpents Scourge” which will be released early 2015. (Ricardo)
