Begrime Exemious – Rotting in the Aftermath

begrime exemious – rotting in the aftermath

Info

A mixture of Black and Death Metal, from Canada. I bet acts like Blasphemy, Conqueror and Revenge shoot right through your mind, but I can assure that is not the case with Begrime Exemious.

And although the band has been labelled as a mixture of both extreme genres, ‘Rotting in the Aftermath’ is definitely more in the Death Metal spectrum than Black Metal, in my opinion. But you could consider Begrime Exemious as a late 80s / early 90s Black/Death/Thrash ensemble who combine the musical endeavours with some dark Finland-like 90s Death Metal ideas. Up-tempo thrashy riffs, slower (dissonant) parts, raspy vocals and old school spirit…that is what you can expect from Begrime Exemious.

At the end ‘Rotting in the Aftermath’ isn’t a revolutionary album, but it’s a satisfying listen for fans of the genre.
