After the Disfuneral EP it took 5 years for the deadly Disfuneral guys to come up with a couple of new tunes. Fortunately they don’t changed their formula, well not a lot, and kept their Death Metal Old School and buzzsaw-like. ça, c’est bien les hommes!
A difference between ‘Blood Red Tentacle’ and the self-titled EP is the sound, as it less gritty. But the Old School Death Metal is still Entombed, Autopsy, Death Breath and Pyre vein, with up- and mid-tempo passages, as well as the typical groove.
A worthwhile listen if ask me.
