A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

And once again a fairly new Death Metal band with an old school attitude and approach who have as much as inspiration as Twitter has moronic tweets, as this is their 6th release after releasing their first demo since 2015. The “Senses Decay” EP was first released by the band itself but Redefining Darkness Records picked it up to give it a cassette release as well, as they noticed the filth Aseptic is spewing.

Both Luis Guardado (drums) and Philip Cortez IV (guitars / vocals) have chosen to be a 2-piece combo without a bass player or picking up the bass themselves during recordings, still achieving to create some putrid and good sounding slab of Death Metal that is a mix of the groove of Benediction, Cannibal Corpse’s “Eaten Back to Life” and Possessed when they play the up-tempo thrashy riffs. The “Senses Decay” EP is worth your money as it is without any doubt a good listen. (Ricardo)
