When you hear the first seconds of a song like ‘Telekinetic Blood Ritual’, it is impossible not to think of acts like Monstrosity and Brutality. The variation in pace and the fine leads make sure the Death Metal by Vaticinal Rites keeps on being interesting ‘till the last second. They are traces of Death as well, but more in the way Sceptic performed some riffs on the mighty “Pathetic Being” album.
A more than decent EP for sure!
