Before Disfuneral, there was Herpes, a French Death Metal combo who released 2 demos, maybe you’ve seen them via Nihilistic Holocaust or Devil’s Blood Production.
Unlike the viral infection, they got rid of the moniker Herpes easily and changed it into Disfuneral. At first the debut recording of Disfuneral got released independently on cassette back in 2017, but Redefining Darkness Records re-released on cassette in 2021, for reasons Death Metal enthusiasts understand, as it is one fine Old School Death Metal release.
An satisfying blend of Entombed, Autopsy, Death Breath and Pyre along with the mighty buzzsaw sound and a raw mix, fans of the genre can easily buy the cassette without hesitating.
