Noroth – It Dwells Amongst Us

noroth – it dwells amongst us

Noroth is a fairly new act from the US and this rotten threesome didn’t made any effort to release a demo, EP or something like that, they went for a full-length right away which Caligari Records released on cassette, limited that is.

Influenced by the likes of early Immolation (the beginning of “Ironclad, Primitive Intent” as example), Cianide, Incantation and Bolt Thrower groove (listen to “Extinction, Prisoner Ov Splendor”) with the murky sound of old Incantation, you will hear low growls and chugging riffs with a muddy cellar sound. To be honest, nothing you’ve heard before but still a good spin altogether. (Ricardo)
