The Holy Flesh is a new one-man project from the United Kingdom and offers Black Metal with a occult, psychedelic and dissonant twist. When you listen to “Emissary & Vessel”, I think you will not surprised by the fact that The Devil’s Blood is a huge musical inspiration within The Holy Flesh.
With the vocals of the unknown individual slightly back in the mix, it has a whispering-kind-of effect which enhance the occult part. Like always with this kind of hybrid of Black Metal with other dark entities, it is not for everyone and the advice to listen first is a good one once again. (Ricardo)
