A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

And again an anonymous bunch of individuals who try to be shrouded in mystery, just to keep focus on the music they have created. Well, that’s what I think it’s the purpose of this smokescreen. Thanks to the internet some narrowed it done as a bunch from France. The Black Metal on “Eschatonizer” is symphonic and bombastic as the keys have a prominent role within Deathcode Society. You can hear influences of Emperor (“IX Equilibrium” and “Prometheus – The Discipline of Fire & Demise), Dimmu Borgir (“Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia” and “Death Cult Armageddon” era) and Cradle of Filth “Midian” era. Let’s say the established names at the end of the 1990s – early 2000s. After they have released the albums of which they have written history with. Although they don’t match a band like Emperor, I do have to say I enjoyed this album, as not a lot of others play this kind of end 1990s Black Metal anymore. But I do have to admit it’s more about sympathy for nostalgia. (Ricardo)
