These guys have been around for long time and if you are not familiar with them they play a style of Black Metal that is closer to War Metal. Yet, they have a melodicism that most bands from this style do not, it keeps them interesting and fresh. They are like Gorgoroths brother, similar yet different.
“Sovereign” is their latest full length and very much continues their progression into what they want to be. A melodic tinged War/Black Metal band that continues to produce exceptional music. “Sovereign” is great, it kicks ass, just like Cirith Gorgor always does. (Ben Schultz)
