This of six songs and a videoclip consisting mcd is particularly interesting for the die-hard fans, or for people without a pick-up. The two most interesting tracks for the people mentioned above are then ‘Lambs of a God’ and ‘Taking down the Descender’, which were both previously only available on vinyl.
Both songs are, as for the riffs and bangtempo’s, at least as good as the songs that did make it to ‘Feasting on Blood’. It was a pleasant surprise to hear the original, raw version of ‘Pray for Nothing’ and ‘Rest in Flames’, and this proves that these songs are good, even without the heavy and great production we are used from Severe Torture.
The best known track title is probably ‘Perverse Suffering’, of course from the mighty Cannibal Corpse. The cover is due to the sick voice and higher speed even more extreme than the original version, but I personally do prefer CC’s version of the song, although the cover is well-done.
The last track featured on this mcd is the video of ‘Butchery of the Soul’, recorded during their Europe tour with Macabre, and this shows that they also live enlighten us with some sonic terror.
