A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

Once an one-man band from Brazil, but nowadays a deadly combination of 3 Old School Death Metal adepts residing in Germany. After releasing a split with fellow Brazilians Escarnium, Incarceration started writing on new songs which resulted in this 3-track EP, which is released on tape, vinyl and cd. An EP which breathes Old School all the way. The oblivious listener receives a killer blend of late 1980s / early 1990s Thrash Metal and Death Metal as you will hear some Slayer, Sadistic Intent, Sepultura (Morbid Visions / Bestial Devastation) and some Old School Swedish Death Metal icons (I would like to point out early Vomitory). Especially the hoarse vokills of Daniel Silva combined with the rehearsal-reverb sound on top of it, enhance the Sepultura vibe. This is 10 minutes of pure rage and you will love it! (Ricardo)
