Here, ladies and gentlemen, we have a fine release for the Death Metal genre. Goath released ‘Silencing the Prophets of Deceit’ in 2025, having previously released four full-length albums, a live album, and the demo release which started it all. Ván Records and Chaos Records are the labels that made this release possible.
This is a really brutal assault on your ears, where riff after riff hits you straight in the head. It reminds me of the vibe of other great bands such as Belphegor and Cannibal Corpse, and it even carries that sickening aura of Morbid Angel.
Featuring eleven songs of pure Death Metal as it is supposed to be executed, the album is precise and unforgiving. It offers almost 54 minutes of relentless hammering, driven by clear Death Metal drumming. I highly recommend this to all the Death Metal maniacs out there!
