Degraved, an Old School Death Metal band hailing from the USA, released a demo in 2021 entitled ‘Exhumed Remnants’ via Gurgling Gore and Unholy Domain Records, followed by an EP called ‘Whispered Morbidity’, which saw the light of day through Gurgling Gore once more and Me Saco Un Ojo Records. Well, Scooby… we’ve unravelled the mystery of the album title!
Speed isn’t the chosen path on the demo and EP, as it leans more towards slow and downtuned Death Metal in the vein of, for instance, Funebrarum. It sounds sluggish, heavy, and for some of you perhaps a tad too monotonous.
Chaos Records decided to release the first two releases from Degraved on CD as a compilation for those who either missed the original releases or are simply a fan of oozing Death Metal.
