The Germans of Demored released an EP called “Slaughtering the Son of God” back in 2014. It seems they have chosen the right style to play back then, as Raw Skull Recordz contacted them to release their second EP; “Absolution Through Dissolution”. And as I’m holding the EP in my hands, Raw Skull Recordz managed to not mention the war or said “…I will do the funny walk”. Or maybe it was mentioned once, but got away with it. Back to the music, Basil! Demored plays Old Skull Death Metal all the way. This EP is filled with riff driven, mostly mid-tempo Death Metal in the vein of old Hypocrisy (take a listen to “Abiosis”), Sororicide and old Sentenced. Ofcourse there are up-tempo moments present to keep the variation alive. Demored is like the most famous football team of their hometown; Eintracht Braunschweig. Traditional, strong and solid roots and although they are not competing in the highest tier, a lot of fans will like and enjoy it. (Ricardo)
