This first demo from Italian horror-obsessed Death Metal troupe Tenebro is easily one of the most exciting releases I’ve heard over the last year. The band are just as inspired by classic gory Death Metal as the splatterhouse horror films of Lucio Fulci.
The band delivers a fantastic soundtrack to a night of brutal fun. This is horror music. The meaty riffs and cavernous drums weave a tale as filthy as the horror directors they take their inspiration from. Once you add in the odd murder sample and the deep, threatening thunder of the bass the band leaps head and shoulders ahead of their contemporaries.
