A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

When the nowadays Finnish Black Metal scene knocks on the door with a new release, you bet your ass it is in the mid-90s vein. And no surprise this EP created by Grieve has that same sound, the use of melody, atmosphere and variation of pace.

Grieve is a new horde but with familiar faces as Spellgoth (Horna among others), V-Khaoz (Vargrav, Azaghal and so on), Werwolf himself (Satanic Warmaster, The True Werwolf and so many more) gathered with vocalist Valtias to compose a couple of tracks which are more than decent. They don’t invent the wheel again and that is not their purpose either, just a couple of veterans who seem to be a fan of the old style still. And if you buy the 12” version, you will get 2 bonus tracks as well.
