When I heard the first few seconds of this album I thought I put in the wrong disc. It sounds more like an American Death Metal band. Nothing wrong with that, but I like the gloomy Aeternus-style as well.
Fortunately this album still has quite some dark, melancholic guitar parts. The music is over all faster, but Aeternus is still able to create a dark feeling I can’t really describe. But I know one thing: Dark Metal is the one and only right description for this band.
