A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

The second full-length of this Death Metal combo from the USA, is a continuation in the spirit of the  first album. On ‘It Dwells Amongst Us’ the stench of Cianide, Incantation and Bolt Thrower dwelt throughout the listening session.

On ‘Harbinger’ the rotten and pummeling Death Metal kept on rolling and they make sure a headbangable and galloping groove is the trademark for them. Add some old Autopsy to the aforementioned bands and you will get goal Noroth was aiming for with ‘Harbinger’.

This will not be registered as one of the most innovative albums of the last couple of years, and probably flew under the radar for most of you, but if you’re in the mood for some mid-tempo Old School Death Metal, Noroth could do the trick for you.
