A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

When you release your first demo, why not release a demo that is an sonic assault to the listeners ears?

Imperathron is a three man Blackened Death Metal combo with artillery like drums, a vulgar blasphemic growl and whirling riffs the influence of the US scene with acts like later Morbid Angel, Nile, and Hate Eternal. The Polish scene is present as well if you think of Azarath’s “Praise the Beast” album for instance, and for the Blackened part you can think of Belphegor, to add something from Austria as well.

Some controlled chaos of hatred can be found on “Mercy for the Despicable” with good dark riffs and ditto vocals so this is definitively a demo to check out.  (Ricardo)
