Rude – Remnants…

Rude are back with their second album entitled „Remnants…“. After their critically acclaimed debut „Soul Recal“ Rude continue their path of Morbid Angel meets Pestilence induced death metal which already says everything about the band’s sound. The voice comes so near to Van Drunen’s vocals on “Consuming Impulse” it`s almost unbelievable. Same goes to the guitar department. They studied the Azagthoths and the Patricks mentioned in the bands before and are able to produce that kind of riffs and vibes the aforementioned bands were known for in the past. The drum and bass department adds their own signature to the band’s sound taking influences from the heroes of the past. The album is a killer, this time more towards Floridian sounds than on the previous. The production sounds again like a forgotten gem from the nineties. Artwork done by non-other than Dan Seagrave rounding it up perfectly. 2017 will start great with this soundtrack to the apocalypse. (DPF)
