Easy cash in or honest hommage to one of the Netherlands’ best metal bands? Who can say. Fact is that this album hasn’t been released on CD before and is a true collector’s item.
There are many albums around that are called collector’s items but a lot of those records contain less quality than Pestilence’s debut album. It contains 10 songs plus 2 demos as a very nice extra bonus. Need I say more?
This band has always been progressive in the development of their sound, which also caused the band’s demise in the end. A bloody shame but that’s how things go in the music business.
The reallfans can finally replace their worn out LP version with this CD. Rest in pieces…
