Who doesn’t love finding a tasty demo tape from a new and virtually unheard of band? When you’ve been hunting your way through dozens of niche releases online for several hours and you discover that one shiny nugget that makes all of the prior forgettable mediocrity you were listening to that evening worthwhile. Hooray! Well such a case can be made for this new three track Death Pulsation demo. This Swedish quartet is the combined corrosive brainchild fused together by members of the bands Malakhim and Encryptment.
This demo showcases a particularly furious ugliness. Frenzied and hyper energetic guitars in tow with the rapid fire drumming are essentially the equivalent of being fired out of an artillery howitzer and straight into the rancid sewers of hell; which is where I imagine that the terrifying monster who recorded these wretched vocals probably resides.
These three tracks are the only music currently available to listen to from Death Pulsation and they are more than enough to make me want to beg this band to hurry up and release a full album already. Seriously, JUST FUCKING DO IT. (Huw)

Although Death Pulsation is a new band, debuting with this 3-track demo, in its ranks we do recognize musicians who has earned their stripes in the underground scene through bands like Malakhim and Encryptment. Both these bands delivered solid releases through Iron Bonehead Productions and Nuclear Winter Records respectively, another sign of quality, but honestly, I think Death Pulsation is by far the best these musicians have produced so far.
In just over 10 minutes ‘Demo 2025’ shows Death Pulsation to be a force to be reckoned with. Their speedy chaos-filled and Thrash-fuelled Death Metal is definitely fodder for those who recently enjoyed the offerings of bands like Concrete Winds and Abhorration. With its wild and ferocious antics, Death Pulsation reminds much of a mash-up between Bestial Mockery and Angelcorpse, including those ravishing Palubicki-leads. Last but not least, the band even adds a bit of that early Merciless-like Black/Thrash Metal flavour to the mix. All this is served up with a topping of furiously barking vocals. The appetizer is complete and tastes like more. This is something that would appeal to basically everyone who has a general penchant for Extreme Metal. Basically there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Deeply rooted into the old school aesthetics but with a contemporary approach, Death Pulsation pretty much lives up to their band name. Death Pulsation brings the best of both worlds together in a vital and engaging fashion. (FelixS)
