You know there are people who claim(ed) that Death Metal was dead, no chance for survival. But they are so dead wrong! Many bands keep on releasing better and better albums. Krisiun is one of them.
The previous releases, ‘Black Force Domain’ and ‘Apocalyptic Revelation’ were great and showed a progression in playing skills and production between them. Well, these aspects have reached another higher level on this ‘Conquerors of Armageddon’. If you don’t know Krisiun, you must have been sleeping for years. They play unrelenting Death Metal and they play it fucking fast! Now that they’re on Century Media (remind you, Cryptopsy are also on this label) they should get more known soon and do more and better tours. And they deserve it!
I’m not gonna mention any song titles, fuck that, just buy this album and play it loud! (Saldiac)

A thought that always comes to mind when I hear this album is: doesn’t that drummer ever get tired? I guess not because he can keep it up live as well. A great compliment for these guys, they control their instruments almost perfectly. The music is mainly what we had already heard before from Krisiun. It just seems that these guys become more extreme with every album.
Ofcourse the Morbid Angel influences are obvious again, but the extremity gives Krisiun some sort of own style. The sound, done by Erik Rutan, is better than ever, so this is an album that can’t be ignored by people who are still addicted to Death Metal. People like me. (Stijn)
