Already their 4th album, and their 2nd one on Century Media…and I still need to find their 1st one ‘The Just Law’. I consider ‘The Other Side’ a bit disappointing after the masterful “…And Death Smiled”.
Luckily Alastis has recovered on this CD because this is definitely their best so far. I can basically just say that people who enjoyed Samael’s ‘Ceremony of the Opposites’ should buy this CD blind. I find the keys on this album to be much better than on the previous one. The only downside is that the songs don’t differ that much from each other but as long as they’re of this quality you won’t hear me complaining.
Now I just hope they can pull it off live.
