A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

Cosmic, galaxy, asteroids, minor planets…Cosmic Burial isn’t the first act who uses the cosmos as inspiration.

This instrumental Ambient and Atmospheric Black Metal brainchild of V.V. (also playing in Nachtig and Valosta Varjoon) has song titles like VK184 (an asteroid), EO40 (also an asteroid, a near-Earth object), 101995 (a minor planet) and 99942 (also an asteroid, and also a near-Earth object)) who all have a duration between 16 and 20 minutes. With slow melodies and ambient passages V.V. tries to capture the listener’s attention while dreaming away with a stellar sky filled with stars.

You have to be in a particular mood to enjoy Cosmic Burial, and some will be in that mood more frequently than others.
